Are you ready to be renewed?
“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God."
Finish What You Started!
Phi. 1:6 “And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue His work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.”(NLT)
Life is filled with many distractions. Oftentimes these distractions hinder us from finishing things that we start. I wonder how many projects we’ve started but later put on the shelf and have yet to complete. We refer to such unfinished projects as works in progress. The tragedy in leaving projects on the shelves is that in many cases we never return to them. Might I tell you that as it pertains to God, we as His children are also works in progress. The beauty about the Lord is, He never begins work in us that He does not complete. It’s encouraging to know that even when we fail over and over again, God doesn’t just leave us on the shelf.
The reason is, Paul refers to the work that God is doing within us as good. It’s easy to quit, give up and walk away, when we can’t see the good within ourselves. Be confident that God will finish what He starts concerning you because regardless if you see it or not, He regards you as good work. For those dreams, hopes and visions you’ve started but distractions lead to you placing them on the shelf, finish what you’ve started. The work you’ve started is good. “It’s All Good.” Have faith in God and move forward into what He has already showed you. If He’s given you the ability to start, He’s likewise equipped you with the ability to finish.
